There are very unique facilities in each community, some with HOAs. The best result for you may differ from what you’ve heard from others or what you expect. For example, some people hate HOAs because of the extra expense and the perception that they offer nothing. Meanwhile, if it’s a gated community with a lovely pool, clubhouse, or golf course, these require maintenance to ensure they work, look good, and provide you with exceptional value.
